An ultrasonic reversing sensor module is built into the Horpol LDCC 2794 marker lamp from the HOR 101 group, mounted on a short, straight stalk. Seven LEDs provide three functions: white front marker light (6500 K), red rear marker light and amber side position light (2700 K). Left-hand version, 12/24 V supply.

When reverse gear is engaged, the sensor indicator starts flashing to signal that reversing mode is active. The closer the obstacle, the faster it flashes, and when the distance drops below 80 cm it switches to a steady light. The sensor responds only at low driving speed. The approval allows the lamp to be used legally on public roads, and the sensor function is also useful off-road – in manoeuvring yards or car parks. The device assists the driver but does not relieve them of the duty to take particular care when reversing.

The housing is made of plastic with ingress protection IP68; the lamp operates at temperatures from −30°C to +50°C. The round 3x0.5 mm² cable is 1.5 m long.
