How to choose a lamp accessory?
Brackets, hangers and stalks
Horpol hangers and stalks are matched to specific lamp groups (e.g. HOR 41, HOR 42, HOR 102) — check in the product description which models they work with. Work lamp brackets differ in mounting: on a Ø15–28 mm tube, rotating fork or multi-hole angle brackets.
Resistors for LED indicators
An LED indicator draws much less current than a bulb one, so the flasher may blink too fast or signal a fault. A resistor connected in parallel with the lamp increases the circuit load. Choose the version matching the system voltage: 10 Ω for 12 V or 33 Ω for 24 V. The resistor heats up during operation, so mount it on a metal surface, away from cables and plastic parts.
Headlamp protection and connection
- Grilles and full covers: protect the lamp glass against branches and stones; chosen according to the lamp series (HO2, HO3, HP5).
- Seals and connector blocks: a rubber seal protects the bulb socket against moisture, the H4/R2 block is used to connect the bulb in tractor headlamps.
- Deutsch connectors: the DT06-2S mating connector fits work lamps and wiring with a 2-pin Deutsch connector.
