ZEM Duszniki-Zdrój drive mechanisms (geared motors) for 12 V and 24 V. The category includes wiper drives — single- and two-speed, for two- or three-blade systems in Polish-made vehicles — and a front wiper motor for a passenger car.
The second group are 24 V industrial mechanisms: for sliding gates, antenna rotators and wire feeders in automatic welding machines.

How to choose a drive mechanism?
Voltage and part number
The mechanism must match the system voltage: 12 V in cars and vans, 24 V in trucks and buses. All industrial mechanisms in this category run on 24 V. The surest way to choose is by the ZEM part number on the old motor's nameplate — for some models the description gives the current equivalent of an older number.
Parameters to compare
- Torque and speed: rated torque from 2 to 5 Nm, speed from 40 to 210 rpm, depending on the model.
- Number of speeds: two-speed mechanisms have separate speeds for wiper settings I and II.
- Dimensions: motor housing Ø62.5 mm or Ø76 mm; before ordering compare the length from the shaft axis and the mounting spacing.
Wipers vs industrial drives
A wiper mechanism is matched to a specific vehicle and blade layout (two or three blades). Drives from groups 401 and 433 are used in automation — in gates, antenna rotators and wire feeders; for model 401 000 025 continuous and intermittent duty parameters are given separately.
